Office Hours
8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday
8:30 am – 12:00 noon Friday
We are closed on Holidays.

For routine medical questions or appointments, please call our office during normal business hours. You may leave a message on our answering machine after hours and we will return your call on the next business day.

If you have a medical emergency after hours, please call the Northern Michigan Hospital switchboard at 231- 487- 4000 and they will put you in touch with Dr. Heidtke, or you can go to your nearest hospital emergency room.

Appointments
Appointments can be made by calling the office during normal business hours. Please describe your medical condition or need to the receptionist so she can give you an appropriate appointment. If you have an urgent medical problem, we will work you into our schedule quickly. If your needs are less pressing, we will see you in a reasonable amount of time. Plan on scheduling routine care with Dr. Heidtke at least four to six weeks in advance. Our Certified Women’s Health Practitioner, Karen Sussman, may be able to see you much sooner.

Cancellations
Please notify our office as soon as you know you will not be able to keep your scheduled appointment. We will be happy to find another time that works. Your courtesy in this regard will help another patient who is waiting for an opening, and will be greatly appreciated.
